Loop Timer
Interval timer

Work and rest on a loop, with cues that play over your music instead of stopping it.

? How it worksFive steps, about a minute to read

Interval training on a loop: a stretch of work, a stretch of rest, over and over. The timer keeps the count and calls out every switch, so you train by ear instead of watching your phone.

  1. Start your music first, in whatever app you already use. Loop Timer plays on top of it.
  2. Name the intervals. Work and rest, run and walk, or anything you type in. The timer calls them out by name.
  3. Set the loop. Seconds on, seconds off, and how many rounds. Turn on Endless to keep looping until you call it.
  4. Press Test under Sound and alerts while the music plays, and set the level so the cue cuts through.
  5. Start. The lead-in counts you down, says “get ready” three seconds out, and hands off with “begin workout”.
Three beeps climbing, then “work”Go
Three beeps falling, then “rest”Ease off
Three short blips3, 2, 1

While you train: ±15s stretches or trims the interval you're in, Skip jumps to the next one, and End stops the session and shows your tally. Open “Change the loop” to adjust work, rest or rounds from the next interval on.

Every finished session is logged at the bottom of this screen. It stays on this device.

Keep it handy. Add it to your home screen from your browser's share menu and it opens full screen, remembers your settings and works with no signal.
